The Small Utopia

For my birthday I received the catalogue to The Small Utopia, which Roula arranged to have picked up in Venice by Flavio Trevisan (thanks!) who also brought back a brochure from the exhibition, which is above. The show closes in 6 weeks and the book (which admittedly it pains me a little to say) is easily the most comprehensive title on the subject ever published. At 340 pages and profusely illustrated, it's an essential addition to any collection concerned with artists' editions. My only complaint (about the book & show) is that it stops in 1975. Hopefully there's enough interest generated in the project to justify a sequel, so that last 37 years of multiple production can also be represented.
